A little about me
Hi, I’m Supriya, an interaction designer working from Bangalore, India currently. I love travelling and learning about new cultures, cities, people. I am big chatter box. You’ll never see me sitting in one place for more than an hour. I was born in Jaipur, brought up in Delhi, studied in Ahmedabad, worked in Pune and now in Bangalore.
I am passionate about design. I like clean, engaging and functional design. I have worked in print media, spaces, and virtual spaces (web). For the past one year, I’ve worked as a lead User Experience designer for weRead and responsible for overall user experience. WeRead is a social community for book-lovers and serves as lead generation platform for Lulu (and others publishers: Amazon). Lulu is a self-publishing company that owns weRead.com. I worked with a team of some 15 intelligent engineers and product managers. It is a challenge to work for a product with such a varied user base but I guess a lot of credit goes to the team to make the task much simpler!
A few more acknowledgments: A special thank to my friends and family for their never ending support, to Vinay Mohanty for helping me put up my work online, to Subhasis Deb for all the help he has given me.
To know more about me feel free to drop in a line. You can also go through my Resume.
