The weReader is a platform for reading ePub books online. The weReader allows readers to choose from a million free ePub books and read them on their web browser or mobile device. The main advantage of this lies in the social features whereby a reader can discuss and share the book with his friends and the community.
The design of the weReader underwent a lot of iteration both before and after the launch. The user requirements and understanding the e-pub domain were extremely important in giving shape to this product.
The intial ideas stemmed for the pdf document readers but after understanding e-pubs the idea was scrapped out.
